Symposium organized by the Netherlands Space Society
in collaboration with SpaceNed
November 28th 2018
The 69th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2018 has the theme “Involving Everyone”.
This year, around 4.500 leaders in space – heads of major space agencies, astronauts, senior space engineers and policy makers, from 90 countries, were brought together to gather at the Bremen Exhibition Centre for the world’s largest space congress. Over 2.000 topics were featured at the 2018 International Astronautical Congress (IAC).
The IAC 2018 took place in Bremen, Germany from 1 to 5 October 2018.
The IAC is hosted by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), which is based in Paris. Founded in 1951, the non-governmental organisation aims to promote worldwide scientific exchange and international cooperation. The congress is organised by the IAF and in its 69th year.
As tradition, the NVR organizes an IAC evening soon after the IAC, in order to give our members who could not attend the conference in person, the chance to listen to some of the presentations and to obtain an update on the most important news.
