Dear NVR members,
This year, the world celebrates the 50th anniversary of the first man on the Moon by Neil Armstrong. As part of the full year program (www.50jaarmaanlanding.nl) to celebrate this milestone, the Omniversum Theater in the Hague and the NVR organize special premieres of the Apollo 11 movie.
Apollo 11 shows the story of the first man on the Moon in unique, never shown before, original high quality 70 mm footage, giving a new and unique view of the historic mission. And what can be a better way than experience this on the (ultra) wide screen of the Omniversum, that makes you feel you are actually there back in 1969!
To make the premiere extra special. Apollo Astronaut trainer Scott Millican will present his experience with training the Apollo astronauts. He was the trainer for the EVA suits with which the Apollo 11 and later Apollo missions astronauts walked on the Moon. After his presentation and after the movie he will answers your questions regarding Apollo and the use of space suit.

Additional discount:
For 50 members, the NVR offers a € 12,50 discount on the € 20 entrance fee. Please note that these additional discount tickets are for individual NVR members only and without the possibility to select your own seats (seats will be assigned once the subscription is complete).
These extra discount tickets are available on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested, please subscribe by sending an e-mail to secretariaat@ruimtevaart-nvr.nl. Please indicate the premiere date you want to attend, 15 or 17 May. The payment of the € 7,50 entrance fee and the subscription at the Omniversum will be handled by the NVR Secretariaat. You will receive the payment details after registration.
