Welcome to the website of the Netherlands Society for Aerospace (NVR). The NVR aims to improve the knowledge of and interest for space activities in the broadest sense. This is achieved by:

• Focussing on interested public as well as on space professionals
• Providing a platform to her members and stakeholders for space information, communication and space activities
• Focussing on space education activities
• Representing her members in public discussions on space topics on national and international level
• Enter strategic alliances with sister space organisations and other stakeholders

The Netherlands takes part in many programmes of the European Space Agency ESA .  The technical heart of ESA is the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) which is based in Noordwijk on the Dutch coast.
