NVR 60 years young!!

The Netherlands Space Society NVR celebrated a great 60th birthday party at the Space Expo in Noordwijk on saturday December 17. Most memorable was the honorary membership that was awarded to Kees de Jager, professor in Astronomy and founding father of Dutch Space Science excellence since the early sixties. The picture below shows the honorary members that were present in the audience, together with an image of NVR honorary member André Kuipers in the background. André had a special video message for the 80 NVR members that were present, just days before his launch to the International Space Station ISS.
