Join us on 8 October at the ESA-ESTEC Open Day
ESA’s ESTEC Open Day has been running every year since 2011, and regularly attracts upwards of 12000 visitors.
It offers the general public an annual window on to the world of space, playing host to inspiring demonstrations, videos, animations, talks and more.
Come visit the NVR stand in the NL Space booth, or even better: register as a volunteer to help NVR to man it!
The theme of this year’s Open Day is “Breath of Life” – the ExoMars orbiter, currently nearing Mars, will be searching out methane and associated rare gases in the thin alien atmosphere as evidence of either surviving Mars microbes or a different kind of ‘life’ – subsurface volcanic activity, which would mean the planet remains geologically active.
Visitors register for the day via: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/esa-estec-open-day-2017-tickets-35455421119
Volunteers do not need to do so, once registered via: https://goo.gl/forms/Dk1tD2UyBvzOrDop1
