Louis Friedman founded the Planetary Society with Carl Sagan and Bruce Murray in 1989, and was the Executive Director for 20 years. The Planetary Society has inspired millions of people to explore other worlds and seek other life.
Louis Friedman will tell us about the incredible growth and public outreach achieved by the Planetary Society during his tenure, and about solar sailing as an example of the concepts promoted by the association. More info at http://planetary.org/about/louis_friedman.html
